HOW WE COACH
The Hawks coaching Team will be clear and consistent to develop our players understanding of the game, our playing strategy and support of club values and DNA.

HAWKS FC IS COMMITTED AS A KEY FUNDAMENTAL VALUE TO FAIRNESS & EQUALITY IN PLAYING TIME OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL ITS PLAYERS AND ENCOURAGING OUR PLAYERS TO BE DECISION MAKERS. PLAYERS WILL BE DEVELOPED AS UNIVERSAL FOOTBALLERS CAPABLE OF PLAYING IN MULTIPLE POSITIONS.
All of our coaches across all teams are expected to uphold the values of the club to support our young players and be role models supporting our values and DNA. We have a versatile team and specialist Coaches in Goalkeeping, Futsal, Girls Football and Level 2 Coaches as well as specialists in the FA Youth Awards.

Coaches are encouraged to develop skills and knowledge aquisition through professional development and working with other coaches and players with experience. Our coaching style is "Guided Discovery Learning" where we ask lots of questions to educate young players to be decision makers. The process involves planned coaching sessions with goal setting and consolidation. We expect minimum instructions being given during games to allow players to develop thinking and problem solving skills.

As we develop our club we are looking to set up specialist sections helping the local community and football community to access football.

Whilst we want to be successful on the pitch , we also measure success by developing players and teams who can think for themselves on the pitch with little intervention during matches.

Many life skills can be acquired through sports and so most importantly we coach to develop better people and young adults with the skills to succeed in the modern world.
